What I Offer

MISCARRIAGE SUPPORT

Pregnancy Loss Before 20 Weeks

I can offer in-home or in-hospital support before, during, and after an early pregnancy loss. This can include giving families information about what to expect, helping a mom through the physical process, creating ways to remember the baby, and more.

STILLBIRTH SUPPORT

When Baby’s Heart Stops Beating Before Birth

I can offer in-person support to families facing the birth of a baby who has passed away in utero. From assisting at the birth, to encouraging ways to bond with the baby, I can be there to help before, during, and after this type of loss.

NEONATAL LOSS AND TERMINAL DIAGNOSIS SUPPORT

Giving Birth and Then Saying Goodbye

Sometimes a baby receives a terminal diagnosis before or shortly after birth. I can support families facing this situation by providing additional information, informing the parents of the choices they can make and the rights that they have, what the hospital offers, offer in-person support, and more. I can also work with families to create specialized birth and/or farewell plans.
My own son was diagnosed with several health issues while in utero and was then given a terminal diagnosis hours after his birth. There were so many choices to make and options I didn’t even consider.

POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

Facing the Road Ahead

Facing life after having to say goodbye is overwhelming and can be quite daunting. I can offer in-person or virtual postpartum support by providing resources, offering emotional support, and caring for many physical and practical needs. I can also help to organize support from friends and family wanting to help.
